The FAS project designed and developed the first vocational training curriculum in agriculture for the Turkish Cypriot community. This programme is designed in line with EU guidelines for adult learning.

This course provides farmers with the basic knowledge on how to efficiently manage their farms. Training includes aspects of bookkeeping, basic accounting practices, farm investments, marketing, producer groups and cooperatives as well as good agricultural practices and standards.
This training course provides theoretical and practical knowledge, hands-on experience on animal breeding, animal nutrition production of safe animal feed, good practices to ensure animal health care, novel animal husbandry systems and compliance with welfare standards. The training cover proper milk hygiene requirements and storage practices.

Training provides theoretical and practical knowledge, hands-on experience on ovine and caprine breeding, essential aspects that farmers need to know on animal nutrition and production of fodder crops. Furthermore, the training offers important information and good production practices on animal health care, modern animal husbandry systems and welfare, milking hygiene requirements as well as milk processing and cheese making food safety requirements.
This training provides essential information and practical experiences on all aspects of citrus production. This includes details on planning, establishment and maintenance of new citrus plantations as well as practices, techniques and technologies required for maintaining productivity in mature citrus groves.
This training is designed to support farmers with proper establishment of olive plantations, including information about the different models of production. Practical information is offered on balanced nutrient management, irrigation technology, pest monitoring and management, harvest technologies and olive processing standards for both oil and table.
This training is devoted to those who already are into beekeeping and wish to acquire deeper knowledge on innovation in the sector, latest updates from the research community and application of these novel techniques, technologies and practices in their apiaries. Topics cover professional beehive management, pest and disease prevention, diagnosis and reatment, production of secondary bee products, food safety standards and marketing strategies.
The training offers basic information to those who are interested to learn more what is organic farming, the general standards, procedures and requirements for certification. Basic concepts on agriculture eco-systems is included.
This training covers in more detail the obligations that farmers must abide to convert from conventional to organic farming. Information is provided on the procedures applied by the competent and certifying bodies entrusted with certification. Detailed information is provided on standards for beekeeping, olive and horticulture production.
