EU TAPS Project
The Technical Assistance project was designated to build the capacity of local stakeholders and enhance the competitiveness of the private sector.
The overall objectives of the Project were:
- To promote sector growth to move the economy away from its reliance on the public sector,
- To spur private job creation,
- To increase income convergence with the government controlled areas,
- To prepare Micro and Small-Medium Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) for reunification; to comply with the Acquis and provide support to make enterprises aware of best practices in various sectors.
